A new grant scheme for energy efficiency and renewable energy actions within buildings will be rolled out on a phased basis throughout 2009. Grants will be available for the following:
1. Insulation: Attic and wall insulation, lagging jackets etc.
2. Heating Controls: Installation of high energy efficiency heating systems and controls
FURTHER GRANTS COMING IN 2009
1. High efficiency wood fuel stoves (10kW)
2. High efficiency wood chip and pellet boilers (30kW)
3. Active solar water heating systems
4. Micro hybrid wind/photovoltaic systems for domestic/commercial installation
